The payment methods accepted in our online store are the following:

* If the payment method chosen is bank transfer, we ask that you always send proof of payment along with the order number to geral@meiaduzia.pt, to speed up the processing of your order.

When an order payment fails, we suggest that you try the following methods:

  1. Method 1 – Data verification

    Check the details you used for the payment. If you find any errors, correct them and try again.

    If you don't find any errors, proceed to the next method.

  2. Method 2 – Alternative payment method

    If you have any of the payment methods accepted in the online store available, in addition to what you initially tried to use, and it is convenient for you to use that method, you can try to finalize the order with the alternative payment method.

    If the error persists, proceed to the next method.

  3. Method 3 – Alternative browser

    If you have another browser (eg. Google Chrome, Mozilla Firefox, Microsoft Edge) in addition to the one you are using, try using it to place the order.

    To do so, you can simply open the alternative browser, visit our online store, log into your account, add the desired products to your shopping cart and complete the order as usual.

    If the error persists, proceed to the next method.

  4. Method 4 – Alternate device

    If you have another device (eg computer, tablet, mobile phone) in addition to the one you are using, try using it to place the order.

    To do so, you can simply open the alternative browser, visit our online store, log into your account, add the desired products to your shopping cart and complete the order as usual.

    If the error persists, proceed to the next method.

  5. Method 5 – Clear cookies and cache

    Remove all items from your shopping cart and log out of our website.

    Then clear your browser's cookies. Instructions on how to do this vary depending on the browser used, you can find instructions for the most common ones on the following pages:

    Once the cookies are cleared, go back to our online store, log into your account and repeat the entire ordering process – everything should work correctly..

If none of the suggested methods resolves the issue, please contact us and a member of our team will assist you with the entire process.

To use your gift card, you must visit our online store, log into your account and add the products you want to your shopping cart. When you are satisfied with your selection, proceed to checkout and there you will have the opportunity to enter your gift card code.

If your gift card has a value equal to or greater than the value of your order, you can proceed by clicking on Complete Order.

If, on the other hand, the value of your gift card is less than the total value of your order, we will ask you to choose a payment method, from which the difference between the value of the order and the gift card will be charged.

Your invoice will be sent along with your order or to the same email used to place the order.

Once your payment has been confirmed, your order will be shipped within a maximum period of 2 working days. You will receive an email with the shipping confirmation, and in that email you will find a link (Tracking) that you can use to track the status of the shipment.

Shipping costs depend on the value of your order and the delivery address.

Portugal (excluding islands) & Spain (excluding islands)

  • Orders over 49€: delivery is free.
  • Orders up to €48.99: shipping costs are charged.

Rest of the World

Shipping values are added to the value of your order in the basket, which are calculated at the end of your order, which varies according to the weight and Delivery Address of your order.

When shipping is not free, the value depends on your order and chosen delivery address. To get the exact amount you will be charged, please simulate a quotation on the checkout page of our online store.

You can choose whether you prefer to have your order delivered to an address provided by you, or if you prefer to pick up your order at one of the meia.dúzia® stores in Portugal. To choose this option, you must select the Pick Up option during the checkout of your order, and select the store where you want to collect your products. If you choose the in-store pick-up option, delivery costs are free.

For in-store pickups, you must wait for a confirmation email that your order is ready - this processing usually takes one business day after the order is confirmed. When going to the store to pick up, you should always take the order confirmation email with you. The stores where we offer pick up are:

For deliveries in Portugal you can choose the urgent delivery service, we can deliver within 24 hours with an urgent request and payment of an addition to the URGENT 24 HOURS fee in the amount of €4,5.

Yes, you can buy online and pick up your order at a meia.dúzia® store. To choose this option, you must select the Pick Up option during the checkout of your order, and select the store where you want to collect your products. If you choose the in-store pick-up option, delivery costs are free.

Delivery time varies depending on the delivery address you have chosen. The estimated delivery times, valid after order confirmation, are:

  • Mainland Portugal: 2 to 3 business days
  • Portugal – Madeira and Azores Islands: 7 to 15 business days
  • Spain: 2 to 5 business days
  • Europe: 2 to 5 business days
  • Rest of the World: 7 to 20 business days

We always do everything in our power to comply with the deadlines described above, however, in the case of exceptional situations that cannot be controlled by meia.dúzia®, such as strikes, pandemics, wars, among others, delays may occur in the receipt of your order.

Yes, we can deliver your order worldwide, regardless of the billing address you use.

Our online store is prepared to automatically calculate shipping costs for almost anywhere in the world. If the country you want to ship to is not yet available, you can send an email to geral@meiaduzia.pt with your order, billing details and delivery details and our team will look for the best possible quote for your shipment.

The order confirmation is sent to the email used in your account in our online store, after meia.dúzia®'s team confirms all the details of your order and checks the receipt of payment for the same. The time required to make this confirmation varies depending on the payment method used.

Regardless of the payment method, if the amount corresponding to the order is debited from your account and, after the processing period, you still have not received any email from our team, please check your email spam folder.

The processing time for each payment method is:

  • Credit or debit card (VISA, MasterCard or American Express), MbWay, Multibanco or PayPal (Inc. American Express): the amount is debited immediately and you can expect a confirmation email within a maximum period of 1 business day after the debit.
  • Bank transfer: The amount is debited as soon as you make the payment. When you do, you must send an email to geral@meiaduzia.pt with proof of the same and the order number. Depending on your location and the bank used, the time required for the payment to be processed and to receive a confirmation email varies between 2 and 4 business days after sending proof of payment to our team.

If the amount referring to the order has not been debited from your account within the stipulated period, you must verify that the data entered to make the payment are correct. If these are correct, it means that there was an error processing the payment and you can repeat the order. If you find any error in the data entered for the payment, you must follow the cancellation parameters of the same with the competent entity, and repeat the payment of your order with the correct data.

If the amount has been debited from your account and processing time has passed for the method used and you have not yet received the order confirmation email, please contact our team via email geral@meiaduzia.pt – we are here to help you.

You can make changes until the order date leaves our premises. The procedure for making changes depends on the status of your order:

  • If you haven't made the payment yet you can simply cancel the order and make a new one with the changes you want, as the order will be confirmed only after good payment;
  • If you have already made the payment (and, if applicable, sent the payment confirmation), but have not yet received the order confirmation email: you can send an email to geral@meiaduzia.pt with your order number and what change you want. If the change you want results in a price higher than what you paid, the payment of the difference in values must be received by meia.dúzia® and the order confirmed again before we proceed with delivery. If, on the other hand, the value of the order after the changes is lower than the amount already paid, the difference will be returned to the same payment method used to make it;
  • If you have already received the order confirmation email: we will try to make the changes you want. Please contact us as soon as possible via email geral@meiaduzia.pt or over the phone +351 252 111 845 (calls to Portuguese fixed network) with your order number and what change you want. It is important that you contact us as soon as possible so that we can make changes to your order. This is because we strive to follow up on your orders as quickly as possible, and if the order is no longer in our premises, the change is impossible. If our team confirms that the change is still possible, and if the change you want results in a price higher than what you paid, the payment of the difference in values must be received by meia.dúzia®'s team and the order confirmed again before we make the shipping. If, on the other hand, the value of the order after the changes is lower than the amount already paid, the difference will be returned to the same payment method used to make it.
  • If the order has already been sent: it is not possible to make any changes to it.

After the order is shipped, and if it does not match what you want, you can return it, but you will have to bear the shipping costs. To do this, you must wait for its reception and, when received, contact the meia.dúzia® team via email geral@meiaduzia.pt expressing your desire to return. You will receive confirmation and instructions on how to proceed within 1 business day of sending your email.

Returns of intact products are accepted when the intention to return is expressed within 15 days of receipt of the order by the customer.

NOTE: Returns will only be accepted after they have been confirmed by email by the meia.dúzia® team.

We're sorry that your order does not meet our standards of service.

If you noticed that any product is missing, exchanged or damaged, please contact our team as soon as possible via email geral@meiaduzia.pt. To help us provide assistance as soon as possible, please include your order ID number and, if applicable, photos of what went wrong with your order in your email.

We promise to resolve any error as soon as possible.

Yes, you can return products ordered in our online store, as long as they are intact and that you do so within 15 days.

To proceed with the return, you must wait for the receipt of your order and, when received, contact the meia.dúzia® team via email geral@meiaduzia.pt expressing your desire to return your order. You will receive confirmation and instructions on how to proceed within 2 business days of sending your email.

Once your order is shipped, we do not accept exchanges. You can, however, return it and place a new order with the products you want.

Our registered users, when they communicate that they wish to be contacted by meia.dúzia® (you can do so when registering or on our website, by completing the newsletter subscription), have privileged access to special campaigns, exclusive recipes and are the first to know when we create a new flavor.

Additionally, you can save your order history, billing data and delivery addresses, thus facilitating the process when making new purchases.

To create an account just go to the registration page and fill in all your details. As soon as you confirm your account, you can immediately start enjoying all the benefits.

You can always recover your password, as long as you know the email address used to register.

To do so, simply click visit our online store and click on “My Account” in the navigation bar top of the page. A login form will open and under it you will find a button with the name “Forgot your password?”. Click this button, fill in your email and click send. In a few minutes you will receive an email with instructions on how to reset your password. Just follow them to regain access to the your account.

You can unsubscribe from the meia.dúzia® newsletter at any time. To do this, just send an email with the subject “REMOVE” to geral@meiaduzia.pt. If the email from which you are sending the removal request be different from the email where you receive communications from us, please include in the body of the email which email to to remove.

We try to make all our communications relevant and interesting to our users. if possible, please also tell us why you want to remove your subscription - please help us to improve!

To change your personal data, you can visit the meia.dúzia online store and log into your account, if you're not already logged in.

To log into your account, click on “My Account” on the top navigation bar, enter your login details and click the "Login" button. You will be redirected to your account management page, where you can find your personal data and order history.

To edit your data, click on see addresses and then on edit. Put all new data you want to use in your account and when you are happy with all the changes, click update address.

NOTE: You can store multiple addresses in a single account. If you wish to do so, visit the page “My account”, click on “addresses” and then “add a new address”.

If you wish to delete your account, please send an email to geral@meiaduzia.pt with email or phone number phone associated with the account you want to delete.

It is not possible to delete accounts that contain active orders or ongoing GDPR disputes.

There are several reasons why your discount may not be applied. The most common is that your order is not covered by the code you want to use or the code has already expired.

Always check the conditions of the campaign you want to use and make sure that:

  • You are logged in to your account;
  • You copied the code correctly;
  • You are using the discount while the campaign is still active;
  • Your order (products, billing address, delivery address) is covered by the promotion;
  • Your account is covered by the promotion;
  • You are not trying to use multiple promotions in the same order - in each order you can only use one promotion, unless the specific conditions of the campaign you intend to use include that it is cumulative with other active promotions;

It is very easy to benefit from all the meia.dúzia® promotions. Just add the desired products to your cart and proceed to ordering. On the checkout page, fill in the “Discount code” field with the code of your coupon and click apply. If your order meets the campaign conditions, the discount will be automatically applied and your order overview will immediately reflect campaign usage.

Our products are made with fresh fruits, Protected Designation of Origin (PDO) fruits and natural ingredients such as herbs, spices and wines as natural flavorings. We do not use additives or preservatives.

Our products are all produced using traditional production methods and are artisanal. We produce in small quantities, up to 40 kg, and everything is artisanal, except for the filling.

Our Fruit Jams are prepared using fruits from various regions of Portugal, with more than 55% fruit, without adding additives and preservatives and with a reduced amount of sugar, maintaining and preserving traditional methods.

All our artisanal jams and chocolate spreads can be used to spread cereal bread, toast, to pair with fresh and cured cheeses, roasted meats, salads, desserts, pancakes, crepes, toppings and fillings. Chutneys and Pastes can be used as an addition to meat dishes, fish dishes, smoked foods, cheese boards, and salads.

All products present suggestions for use in the box in several languages and there is a Recipes and Blog section with e-books of recipes for appetizers, salads, desserts, cakes and meat dishes on our website at www.meiaduzia.com.

The aluminum tube packaging has advantages in the preservation of the product in relation to the traditional glass bottle. It reduces exposure to light and air intake after opening, thus minimizing the process of natural degradation of the product (oxidation), maintaining the natural properties and nutrients for much longer. The small inlet of the tube reduces the entrance of air and contamination of the product, and thus a reduction of mold formation, very typical in the glass packages after opening, thus reducing the waste of product.

Tube packaging is more convenient to transport and use as we do not need spoons or knives to spread the product. Due to its size you can take it to work, for a picnic, to school or anywhere, and just put it on a toast without the need for a spoon. It is a more hygienic packaging as there is no contamination caused by crossed with spoons.

All our products should be stored at room temperature and, while closed, have a shelf life of 2 years after the date of production. Once opened, they should be stored in the fridge and consumed within 30 days.

Honey and chocolate spreads should be stored at room temperature, even after opening.

Our products are marked “Best before…”: day/month/year, which means that can be consumed after the expiry date - up to 3 months, although it must always be considered that the product is not tampered with.

If the product is closed and the expiry date has passed, in the case of products packaged in tube, the external appearance of the metal packaging must be considered. If the package is breaded or shows signs of rust or swelling, you should not risk consuming it.

If the product you received does not meet our high quality standards, or you suspect any defect or anomaly therein, proceed as follows:

  • Keep the product intact, and take a picture of it, including the production batch, and send us an email with the information regarding the occurrence and the product in question to our customer support email: info@meiaduzia.pt or geral@meiaduzia.pt or over the phone +351 252 111 845 (calls to Portuguese fixed network).
  • After our analysis, we will make the decision to collect and replace with a new product in accordance with our after-sales service quality policies.

You can customize all our products with the message you want through a personalized card.

In the packs or hampers, you can change the flavors or create a personalized pack or hamper exactly the way you want.

To do so, at the end of your purchase, you can add a note with your flavor changes and message personalized, as well as which pack box you want. Our team will validate everything with you before shipping.

If you want to make a Pack 3, Pack 6 or Pack 9, personalized hamper, in our online store you can create one of your own measure, and choose your favorite flavors from fruit jams, chutneys, chocolates, olive oils, liqueurs and even teas, and the box you want.

meia.dúzia® products are made from seasonal fruit, which enhances their flavor. Therefore, stockouts may occur that are not immediately replenished. In these cases, the product will be available as soon as the raw materials used to create it are also available.

There are themed packs and limited editions that are only available for a limited time. In these cases the product will no longer be available for sale.

Yes! We have available, in our online store, a tool that allows you to create your personalized PACK or Hamper tailored to your needs, and where you can choose your favorite flavors from fruit jams, chutneys, chocolates, olive oils, liqueurs and even teas and at the end your box.

If you know you have an allergy, you should always read the product label carefully before ingesting it. note that all allergens are identified in bold on their labels, Examples: “Allergens: Contains sulfites and Soy. May contain traces of milk and gluten.”.

Our packaging is made from over 99.7% 100% recycled aluminum with a certified food-grade coating. Aluminum is infinitely recyclable without losing quality, minimizing extraction from nature. Once used, the packaging must be placed in the metal recycling facility, that is, in the yellow recycling bin.
