The Rocha Pear from Oeste PDO is an exclusively Portuguese variety, predominantly produced along the Central West Coast of Portugal, covering an approximate production area of 10,000 hectares. The soil and climate conditions, along with the expertise of the people from Oeste, are key factors in obtaining this product with exceptional organoleptic qualities, appreciated and recognised worldwide. The Rocha Pear from Oeste PDO - Protected Designation of Origin - is acknowledged by the European Community as a traditional, high-quality product that is an integral part of Portuguese Cultural Heritage.

Blueberries grow in clusters and range in size from that of a small pea to that of a marble. They have an intense colour that varies from blue to brown and black-purple, with soft white-grey blooms on the surface serving as a protective layer. The skin surrounds a translucent pulp that encases tiny seeds.
