The Raspberry and Redcurrant Extra Jam with Verbena is a combination of acidic and fresh flavors, which result in a sweet with a refreshing and surprising taste. Rocha Pear PDO is an exclusively Portuguese variety, produced mostly on the West Central Coast of Portugal, with an approximate production area of 10,000 ha. The soil and climate factors and the expertise of the people of the West are crucial conditions for obtaining this product with exceptional organoleptic qualities, which are appreciated and recognized worldwide.

Rocha Pear PDO – Protected Designation of Origin – has the Community recognition as a traditional, quality product, which is an integral part of the Portuguese Cultural Heritage.

  • Origin of São Tomé dark chocolate: Democratic Republic of São Tomé and Príncipe was discovered in 1470 by Portuguese navigators, João de Santarém and Pedro Escobar. It was a Portuguese colony until July 12, 1975, when the islands gained their independence. Cocoa is another of the points that unites these two peoples, since it was Portugal that introduced these plantations to the islands. São Tomé ended up being known as the “Cocoa Island”. For this reason, the culture of these two islands continues to be linked by a common past and language.
