Running until the 25th of June, Portugal will be present with the Portuguese and Parisians at the BHV Marais in Paris at the exhibition of Portuguese products “Sous le Soleil du Portugal”. This event, carried out with the support of Aicep Portugal Global and Turismo de Portugal, involves the participation of more than fifty national companies and BHV Marais partners. Portuguese brands and companies in the food sector, such as meia.dúzia®, promote tasting actions of Portuguese food products and wines. The emphasis given to the tourist destination and to Portuguese brands is a unique opportunity to increase the awareness of national products, with the possibility of some of the brands and products on display remaining in the daily offer of BHV Marais, after the end of the campaign.
Created in 1856, BHV Marais is located in one of the most famous and trendy neighborhoods of the French capital, the Marais. With around 50,000 visitors a day, it has more than 2,000 luxury and high-end brands. Currently, the facade, the windows and the interior of the store are decorated with elements alluding to Portugal and its products.
France is known as the country of 1000 varieties of cheese, and as in Portugal, French cheese is a highly appreciated delicacy, where fine wines and jams are the ideal combination. In this way, meia.dúzia®, always in search of the best combinations and flavor experiences, created the ideal pairings for the best French cheeses, such as Emmental, Comté, Camembert and Brie.
