Kiwi, a refreshing fruit, intensely acidic combined with the freshness of mint, gives this cocktail a richness on the palate, which makes it very popular as an aperitif or digestive.

Ingredients
- 90ml of rum
- crushed ice
- 1 lime
- 10 mint leaves
- 1 sugar spoon
- 1 kiwi (to decorate)
- 20ml of fresh sparkling water
- 1 Tube of Kiwi Extra Jam with ‘Douro’ Muscatel meia.dúzia®
Method of preparation:
- Put Crushed Ice in Cocktail Glasses;
- Separately, place 8 mint leaves, lime and sugar, and crush using a mortar and pestle;
- In a cocktail shaker, add the rum, the Kiwi Extra Jam with ‘Douro’ Muscatel meia.dúzia® and the lime mint and sugar mixture, mixing all the ingredients well. (if you don't have a cocktail shaker, you can mix the ingredients together in a glass);
- Pour the mixture over ice in the cocktail glass and top up with fresh sparkling water;
- Garnish with the remaining 2 mint leaves and the kiwi.
If you prefer a non-alcoholic version, just replace the rum with sparkling water.
