Ingredients
- 1 tube of Banana and Clementine Extra Jam with Rum meia.dúzia®
- 200ml of water
- 50g of sugar
- 1 star anise
- 2 cardamom seeds
- lemon peel
- 25ml Port wine
- bread for french toast
Method of preparation:
- In a pan, bring the Banana and Clementine Extra Jam with Rum meia.dúzia®, sugar, water, cinnamon, anise, cardamom seeds and lemon peel;
- Let it boil until the sugar dissolves;
- Cool;
- Add Port Wine;
- Cut the bread diagonally 2 cm thick;
- Pass through the previous preparation, then through the previously beaten eggs and fry in very hot oil;
- When they are golden, remove the french toast and let it drain, sprinkle with sugar and cinnamon.
