An explosion of flavours, black pork ham from Alentejo with cheese from the island of São Jorge, dried figs from Trás-os-Montes and a sweet sauce of Rocha do Oeste Pear with ‘Douro’ Muscatel… simply unique and 100% Portuguese.

Ingredients
- ½ package of aromatic salad with wild arugula
- 6 cheese slices from Ilha S. Jorge aged for 3 months
- 6 slices of black pork ham
- 4 dried figs cut in halfs
- 1 rustic bread cut into squares, toasted in the oven
- 1 tube 60 ml of Extra Virgin Olive Oil with Green Peppercorns meia.dúzia®
Ingredients for the emulsion:
- 1 tube 75 g of ‘Rocha’ Pear Extra Jam with ‘Douro’ Muscatel meia.dúzia®
- 2 ml of ‘Douro’ Muscatel
- salt to taste
Method of preparation:
- Drizzle the toasted bread with the tube of Extra Virgin Olive Oil with Green Peppercorns meia.dúzia®;
- Place the aromatic salad with wild arugula in a salad bowl;
- Prepare the emulsion with ‘Douro’ Muscatel, the ‘Rocha’ Pear Extra Jam with ‘Douro’ Muscatel meia.dúzia® season with salt, mix well and add to the salad;
- Place the island cheese slices on top of the figs, the toasted bread and finally the ham;
- Finally, as a topping over the ham and cheese, the ‘Rocha’ Pear Extra Jam with ‘Douro’ Muscatel meia.dúzia® to taste.
